Simon Carnemolla
My name is Simon Carnemolla. I am 29 years old and come from Perth in Western Australia. I am married, with 2 beautiful children aged 4 and 7 years old. My wife is originally from Nagasaki but we have spent our time together as a married couple in Perth. Over the past 5 years we took Japanese students into our home in Perth so they might experience life in Australia with the safety and support of our family. It was a marvelous experience for my family and me to take in so many Japanese students over the years and help their English speaking skills grow.
I moved to Nagasaki city in December 2008 with my wife and children with the hope we could make the city our home. We have since settled into our new lives here and I now have been given the opportunity to work for such a wonderful company as Estaminet. My hope is to contribute my teaching abilities the best I can and provide my students with fun and wholesome lessons. I believe the best way to learn the English language is to use the language as often as possible, while practicing with other people (especially native speakers). Try to surround yourself with the language and most importantly, have fun doing it.
